Welcome to the Wrestlemania 22 blog. Wrestlemania 22 this year will be held in my hometown of Chicago, IL. (Actually the Allstate Arena is in Rosemont, IL, but it is close enough) I will be covering any news that relates to the event, including when tickets will go on sale for Wrestlemania, information on the 2006 WWE Hall of Fame, and exclusive coverage of any special events going on in and around the Chicagoland area. Also if there are any storyline developments on television in regards to Wrestlemania 22 I will be covering that as well. All information from before this date was from my old blog, the BG-Spot. This past Tuesday Night I headed to the home of Wrestlemania 22, the Allstate Arena, for a taping of WWE Smackdown. At the tapings John Cena officially announced to the crowd here in Chicago that Wrestlemania 22 will be taking place at the Allstate Arena on April 2nd, 2006. At the end of the night they handed out a postcard to get information on advance ticket sales and a website you could go to to register for information.

During Wrestlemania 21 tonight it was announced that Wrestlemania 22 will take place in Chicago at the Allstate Arena on April 2nd, 2006
